While the non-union MWBE pool is growing, union contractors have a need for a larger MWBE pool from which to draw for government-enforced set-asides. Greater New York LECET is proud of work their contractors perform on structures and projects throughout New York. LECET and its affiliates promote the image of their contractors in industry trade publications, at trade shows and job fairs, and through a wide variety of marketing materials. Whether in the pages of Engineering News-Record, on television and radio, or in marketing and recruitment materials, LECET and its affiliates convey one simple message: being a union contractor means being devoted to quality, training, and safety. We want to see these values and ideals carried into the next generation. LECET helps make that happen by working with the Mason Tender's District Council and its signatory contractors to recruit tomorrow’s MWBE's today. From meeting with awarding agencies to developing MWBE promotional materials and events, LECET and its affiliates are reaching out to MWBE's who want to grow their businesses in the union construction sector.
